Icon Agency appoints Adam Vincenzini to head expanded digital content division

We’re thrilled to have appointed former Ogilvy PR Melbourne MD Adam Vincenzini to head our expanded social media and digital content offering.

The appointment follows a string of account wins and new hires this year, and coincides with the launch of a new digital joint venture in Canberra (stay tuned for more on this).

Vincenzini is one of Australia’s leading digital content experts. After establishing his career at Lexis Agency in London, Adam returned to Australia where he founded successful digital content agency, Kamber.

Icon Agency Managing Director, Joanne Painter, said Vincenzini would be responsible for driving ‘through the digital line’ thinking and client solutions across PR, digital marketing and creative.

“We are delighted to welcome Adam to our senior leadership team in the capacity as Director of Integrated Strategy and Digital Media, a role he is ideally suited for given his proven strengths in content, social media, advanced analytics and digital media buying.

“We recognise that data-driven content is crucial when it comes to engaging and connecting with online participants. By beefing up our digital content, video and social media capabilities we hope to be able to offer clients an even more powerful and fit-for-purpose skillset.”

“Icon’s integrated model is an ideal fit for Adam’s experience. Together with our Creative Directors Rod Clausen and Ed Bechervaise, Adam will help bring to life our new brand platform, Pursuit of Possibility, across digital, social and traditional media.

Says Vincenzini: “The Icon Agency model is unique and it makes genuine integration across disciplines a reality. I’m looking forward to playing a key role in making the both the model and offer an even stronger proposition alongside the senior team.”
