Icon recently delivered a new ‘Know Your Drone’ microsite for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
With Australians flying drones in record numbers, more drones in the sky means knowing the official rules. Built in Drupal 9 CMS, this educational microsite helps inform drone owners on the safety rules required to keep the community safe.
As well as design and development of the main site, our team also built an interactive quiz that helps owners check their knowledge of the safety rules when using a drone. The quiz provides feedback and reasoning after each question is answered. Visitors can also share their quiz result with friends and family via social media.
The site also includes accreditation details, links to safety apps, how to buy a drone from reputable suppliers, and downloadable safety resources in multiple languages.
