Icon Agency has been recognised as Australia’s premier PR agency, winning Gold for PR Agency of the Year at the Campaign Asia ANZ Awards.
The victory marks Icon’s eighth Agency of the Year award in the last 24 months. The firm also won Bronze in Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year and was also awarded to Icon, with the firm now winning both awards in consecutive years.
The awards cap another successful year for Icon, which was also recognised as an ABA100 Winner for Business Excellence in The Australian Business Awards 2022, a cross-industry accolade that showcases business excellence. Overall, the firm was honoured with 44 award nominations and 25 wins for its work this year.
In addition to Icon’s team awards, its leaders were also honoured with individual accolades, with Co-founder and Managing Director Joanne Painter winning Agency Head of the Year, and Sales Director receiving a Commendation for New Business Development Person/Team of the Year for ANZ.

Icon continues to grow, with expanding its Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra offices, and opening a dedicated production facility The Content Garden earlier this year.
